About Us

L

a Fourno has the ambience of a neighborhood Trattoria. We serve authentically prepared dishes from Abruzzo, Umbria & Tuscany all made with the freshest ingredients purchased daily from the local Italian market. Our breads, calzones, pannini's and pizzas are baked in a wood burning brick oven.

The private, candlelit second floor features a more formal atmosphere with linens, a working fireplace & spacious comfortable bar. The restaurant attracts a range of clients - from well-heeled residents of Society Hill and young professionals from nearby Queen Village to the areas's business community and out-of-towners, all of whom rub elbows with the more outrageously attired denizons strolling "the hippest street in town." The staff is friendly and professional and always willing to serve a smile with your meal.
